Why you should have a checklist?
Having A checklist for individuals with disabilities should include a communication plan, an evacuation plan, a personal support network, and a tailored emergency kit with adaptive equipment and medical supplies. Key considerations are a backup mobility device, extra batteries for electronic devices, and comfort items that can help manage sensory overload, such as noise-canceling headphones. Its important that the individual training includes family and friends and assistants in the community. No man should be left behind.
